There are a great many possible uses for a Collaborative Creativity project and, with all the variables, this implies a single briefing module is hard to imagine. Consequently, the Problem Paper is a simple tool, yet its brevity is also its strength - it demands concise thinking and prioritisation.
Collaborative Creativity is all about problem-solving, so that’s where I start by asking a client to complete a Problem Paper. I believe it’s a useful exercise. It often leads to more questions than it answers, but it influences the direction of exploration and is a foundational piece for creating the project statement.
